She was ready to leave this world forever.

She hated all the chasing and fighting.

She wanted to find Gwen and help Ben and Kevin out.

After THAT? Who knows?

She hoped she could just die alone and unloved if only to be spared the pain of living.

She hated everything that happened to her. She was weary. So very weary.

She hated HIM.

Darkstar. Michael Morningstar.

She wanted to murder him.

Break his spirit and mind then his body.

She wanted his blood on her hands.

She'd get it.

She opened a portal to Michael and entered it.

She frowned at him and sprang him from his prison.

"The only reason I sprang you was so I could kill you." She seethed.

"You sure it wasn't cause you still love me...Hope?" He asked slyly.

She hurled him into a wall and slammed him into a window.

"Pretty damn sure. And THIS is MY home. MY domain. You've no power here." She said.

"Oh, you are so wrong. I've the power you GAVE me." He said as he grabbed her arm.

Her strength left her as she fell to her knees and groaned.

Strange a pleasant scent hit her. The most pleasant scent in history. Like a well-tended garden. Overpowering but relaxing. She felt weak but strong. She smiled. It was...hypnotic. An ambrosia of allure.

Michael smiled. Another for his harem.

She smiled at him and gasped happily.

"Hey, baby..." She said.

"Hello, Hope. May I?" He asked politely.

He helped her up and absorbed more power.

She kissed him and slipped him the tongue.

More power came from romantic interactions, Michael noted.

She sank deeper into the kiss and moaned.

He broke after a minute and smiled.

"My dear, I know of a place we can rule as king and queen." He said. He revealed an odd scepter and tapped her on the chest with it. Ice blue energy surged into her heart and head. It expanded her mind.

She knew immediately what to do.

"Good. They need to pay. Their world will bow or burn." She said.

They knew how to play it.
